Cancellation policy

With a major snowstorm possibly looming, this is a good time to reiterate our cancellation policy.

On weekdays: we follow Omaha Public Schools. If OPS cancels because of weather, our office is closed and meetings and events are canceled. Two exceptions:

- If OPS closes because it's too cold for kids to stand outside to wait for a school bus, but the roads are good, then our office does not close. We close because of snow, sleet, ice, and the like, anything that makes transportation hazardous.

- If OPS closes in the morning but there is an evening event, the person in charge may decide that the roads are cleared and the event should go ahead. So, for example, on a Thursday we may close the office because of a snowstorm, cancelling daytime events. But the city may have the streets clear by evening, and Dr. Krampe may decide to have choir practice.

On Sundays: Pastor Bob decides if transportation hazards require canceling worship. If the city has cleared Corby Circle and our service has cleared our parking lots, I will generally not cancel worship. Check Channel 7, our website, and Facebook. Or phone me. If worship is not canceled but you believe you should not go out, then read Scripture, say your prayers, have a cup of hot cocoa, and go back to bed. God bless us, everyone!
