Take a moment and think about your community of faith ... it's easy to picture the congregation sitting together on a Sunday morning, singing a hymn and sharing a prayer together. Maybe you picture a Sunday School class, a puppet performance, a choir practice. That's part of your faith community too. But don't you participate in your faith community online during the week too? You bet you do! Perhaps you're thinking of your friends at church and some joy or pain that they are going through right now. Perhaps you've already sent them an e-mail, text or Facebook post. Hopefully you've added them into your prayers. Right now you are sharing the exciting news about PCM's new website with your community.
PCM is a strong community of faith, when we are together and when we're apart. Thanks to the power of technology, social media and all these little 1's and 0's, our community is able to stay together and interact throughout the week. The new PCM website is designed to help us all do just that. It's not just a place to go to see if church is cancelled because of the snow or to check the calendar for upcoming events. The new PCM website is here to enable you to interact with your fellow members in new and exciting ways.
We invite you to explore the many things available to you in the new website. We hope you will take a moment and add your comments, ideas, thoughts and prayers to anything and everything you find here. We hope you will subscribe to the site or many categories so you can receive e-mail updates as they come in. On the new PCM website you can do a lot of things including:
- Read prayer requests or submit one of your own
- Check the PCM Care Line for fellow members who may need prayer or assistance
- Read the latest newsletter articles or announcements
- Read/listen to a sermon you may have missed
- Check the Calendar for upcoming events
- Log in and view the PCM Member Directory
Through our interaction, we find our community. With our community, we find Christ. May God bless you this day that God has made.
