Galloping Gourmet meets for a bus trip to Ana Carballal’s favorite restaurant on the second Friday, May 8th. The bus leaves our south parking lot at 6:00 for the restaurant. Then we will be returning to our host’s dessert at the church after dinner. Make reservations on the signup sheet in the Communication Center and we will see you then!
Table Grace Cafe is the PCM Mission Committee's Mission Partner and Hunger Focus for the month of May. Many members will remember that a few years ago many members enjoyed a delicious brunch at Table Grace Cafe on a Saturday afternoon in April. Many more will remember the wonderful New Year's Eve dinners that Table Grace Cafe served for PCM. (If you are thinking about having an event catered, you might consider Table Grace.) And yet others will remember stopping there for lunch while on a Round Town Mission Trip.
PW’s annual spring flower sale has been canceled for this year. We are sorry to disappointing the many PCM members who have consistently purchased our plants. Next Spring we hope to again be able to supply you with gorgeous plants from Deer Ridge Greenhouse. Thanks for your understanding and continued support of PW.

Fifty years ago the Beatles and the Rolling Stones were on world tours. President Johnson was sworn in and the War in Vietnam was escalating. The space race was in full swing, the march on Selma led to the passage of the Voting Rights Act and “The Sound Of Music” was in theaters.
Thanks to everyone who took part in getting their pictures taken for the directory. As you may have read, LifeTouch gives a $5.00 coupon off for any order placed if you bring in a canned good for their Feed the Need project. One dollar of that comes back to the church. Through the kindness of a few individuals we were able to donate a can for everyone who had their picture taken and the coupon was applied. Thanks to you that did remember. If you would still like to bring a canned good please do. It’s for a good cause! There is a display in the Communication Center. Layout and proofing has begun and we hope to have a new directory for you in the spring. Thanks. -Mary Molacek
