The ACE puppeteers performed at the Summer Arts Festival in the Old Market for the second year in a row. Many spectators, young and older, were delighted by the fabulous show. The colorful Presbyterian Church of the Master (PCM) banners waved proudly from each side of the stage.
The PCM puppets will go on the road with new material for two shows this summer. The puppeteers learned many fabulous ideas from the Puppet Festival, and you will be seeing those in future productions. More details later.
What a thrill for the Active Christian Entertainers (ACE) puppet troupe to receive an invitation from another Omaha church following our November worship program. The troupe will present a March program at the other church.
SPREADING JOY! The Prison Ministry worshipped at PCM celebrating Easter with the Active Christian Entertainers (ACE). What better way to experience the resurrection of our Lord.

As I’m typing this, it’s actually the middle of December. Your Mission Committee spent a large part of the last meeting of the calendar year talking about where to send the funds remaining in our budget. The annual report (which will be available at the congregational meeting) will have a complete picture of our fiscal year, but I’d like to give you a thumbnail of who received donations in December. Local mission recipients included the Omaha Seminary Foundation, Covenant Network, Crossroads Prison Ministry and the folks who drive the bus for Crossroads, ACE Puppets, and immigrant families with children in Margo Forsythe’s classes. World mission recipients were Aqua Africa, Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, Project Homecoming and Los Chavalitos.
The Crossroads Ministry Meal and worship service at PCM was well received. A big thank you to Sara for a great message at worship. Also the ACE troop presentation was well received and liked if all the picture taking on cell phones could be used as indications for how the audience enjoyed the performance.
