The sale is PW’s major money making project. The money raised helps support PW mission work. We hope you’ll circle the date on your calendar and plan to contribute generously. Additional information will be provided in the October issue of the VOICE.It’s Time—There comes a time in all of our lives when we find it necessary to make some changes. Recently our dear friend Barb Dasenbrock has made such a decision. She has been an active member of this church for many years and been supportive of PW by regularly attending various women’s groups and serving on the board in many capacities.Barb has decided to turn her job of Wedding Coordinator (appointed in 2002) and Funeral Reception Coordinator (2014) over to others within the congregation.Winnie Pinch and I will be assuming responsibilities for the Funeral Receptions. I also will be stepping in to assume duties of Wedding Coordinator until a new individual is appointed. If any women in the congregation are wanting to assume the position of Wedding Coordinator, please contact me at 402-496-0722. I will be happy to answer any questions you might have. Although we do not have a large number of weddings, it is an important position. We want every bride to know her wedding event is in capable hands.Thank you again, Barb, for all you do. God Bless you.Thank you for your continued support. -Kay Smith, PW Moderator

Celebration of the 4th of July is always special when shared with good friends and family. Many of you took us up on our invitation to join PW members along with Bob and Kathleen Keefer to celebrate. Our PCM parking lot is a fantastic place to see the city’s many firework displays. We promised good conversation, laughter, snacks and a good view of the fireworks. Many people have told us how much they enjoyed the evening. Guess this could be an annual event.

4th of July Celebration—PW along with Pastor Bob and Kathleen are inviting PCM members to join us at dusk on the south side of the PCM parking lot. One of the city’s best kept secrets is the marvelous view we have to enjoy the various fire work displays. The top of the hill has truly been a secret spot to view the displays without dealing with the large crowds, etc. So if you’d like to join us, bring your lawn chairs, bug spray, snack and beverages. We promise good conversation and much laughter.

We thank them for their years of dedicated service.  Both women have given their time and talents to this group and will be greatly missed. Their resignations, along with the passing of Dorothy Norton, have resulted in our need to do some reorganization.
