Presbyterian Church of the Master doesn't just worship together - We play together as often and as much as we can. All are welcome to participate. Here's a brief listing of the fellowship groups that exist at PCM.
Couples BridgeA fun group of people who enjoy playing "party bridge" once a month in one of the members' homes. Usually two or three tables play. Couples bridge is the third Saturday of the month and starts at 7:30 p.m. We usually wrap it up about midnight.
Galloping GourmetGalloping Gourmet is held six times during the year on the second Friday of March, April, May, September, October and November. This group meets at different homes for appetizers - then travel to a mystery restaurant, which the host has reserved, for dinner - they return to the host 's home for a light dessert. This great evening is for anyone - young or old, singles or couples - who want an enjoyable evening of Food, Fun and Fellowship. Golf LeagueDuring the late spring and summer, a golf league meets on Wednesdays to play the 9-hole, 3 par golf course at Warren Swigert, Parkview Drive. Foursomes are organized for regular play and a substitute list of players is available for those times regular players are absent. A small fee is required for participation.
Ladies BridgeThe Ladies Bridge Group plays the second Wednesday of each month, at the home of a group member. It is strictly a fellowship opportunity. The only requirement is that you already know how to play bridge - we do not teach bridge.
Volleyball LeagueEach winter volleyball games are organized for anyone interested in this team sport. No particular level of expertise is required and everyone is welcome to sign up. Games have usually been scheduled on Saturday evenings.
WayfarersWayfarers is a social opportunity for sharing meals and participating in various group activities for individuals age 50 and over. All are welcome to participate in the monthly meetings held the second Monday of each month, September through May. Meetings take place at Valentino's Restraunt located at 102nd and Maple Streets; 11:30 a.m. Devotions, speakers, and/or fun activities comprise the program each month.
