- Doug and Ed's group starting laying down tile and floor having conquered the leveling of the concrete floors.

- Adam really enjoyed "destroying lots of things" as he worked with Larry Shelton and the guys from Wisconsin on their home.

- Some of the groups experienced their first "snowballs" which resemble snow cones with a variety of different flavors including mango, blue coconut and yellow cake. They've become essential to surviving the heat in the early New Orleans afternoons.

We left for the French Quarter just after 5 and split up to explore the area. Many of us enjoyed some hurricanes, beers, jazz, blues, bbq shrimp and coffee and beignets at Cafe Du Monde. Most of the group returned at 10:30 that night, while some of us braved our way to 11:30. It was a beautiful night in the French Quarter and everyone had a great time.
